Trinity Church welcomes acclaimed guest conductor  Nicholas McGegan, one of the world’s foremost Handel experts, to lead the highly anticipated annual performance of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. This cherished holiday tradition — hailed as “the gold standard” by The New York Times — has captivated audiences since 1770. Trinity’s beloved version is authentically performed on period instruments in an acoustically rich space. Soloists from the church’s expansive community of artists complement each glorious aria and the declamatory recitatives that join them with their own interpretations of this human journey of faith. Don’t miss it.
